Barend Blondé is working with legal professionals since 1997.

Before engaging in consultancy, he supported and coached legal professionals from in-house positions. In 2004 and 2005, he assisted the General Counsel of De Post/La Poste, the Belgian national postal company, with restructuring the Legal Department. Before, he was Client Development Manager for Allen & Overy in Belgium for seven years. Barend was the first in-house marketing professional in a Belgian law firm and one of the first on the European continent. His passion for relationship marketing is the result of working for Bacob Bank (now Dexia), where he helped introduce relationship banking.

Barend has a licence in Law from the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven and one in Business Administration from IAG, Université Catholique de Louvain-La-Neuve. He was trained in Professional Services Marketing and Key Account Management at Cranfield University (UK).
